We’re going to Baltimore this month. Are you?  abeo is taking part in two of our industry’s most important conferences of the year this month, so we want to fill you in on the when, what and why you should consider attending.

This year’s Society for Ambulatory Anesthesia (SAMBA) 2014 Annual Meeting will take place on the beautiful Baltimore Harbor from April 24-27. The SAMBA meetings provide you with the latest clinical content and innovative tools that help advance your ambulatory anesthesia practice into the future. Founded in 1985, the Society for Ambulatory Anesthesia is one of the fastest growing anesthesia organizations. SAMBA responds to the education and research needs of perioperative physicians practicing ambulatory anesthesia.

Representing abeo at the SAMBA Annual Meeting are Craig Watt and Gloria Pilgrim out of abeo’s Frederick, Md., Eastern Division Operations office. Craig Watt is President of abeo’s Eastern Division and Gloria Pilgrim is Director of Contracting Services for the Eastern Division. abeo provides billing, coding, transcription and practice management services for both anesthesiology and ambulatory surgery center markets. Craig and Gloria will be available to discuss the unique environment of ambulatory surgery centers and the challenges ambulatory anesthesia physicians are faced with.  It goes without saying, but abeo can provide solutions for improving the relationship between the ASC and Anesthesia practice, ways to improve revenue, contracting strategies and more. We  look forward to talking about ways to improve revenue and discover ways of managing your practice you hadn’t thought about before.

We’ll also be front and center at the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) 2014 Anesthesia Conference in San Francisco from April 27-29. How are we in two places on the same day? We’re just good like that. Plus, we love San Francisco and the tech-first concepts that embody the city’s spirit. We’ll be discussing our two premier software products, Medsuite and Avid. For more information, go to San Francisco!
