Get your virtual backgrounds ready for the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) PRACTICE MANAGEMENT™ 2021 conference!

Why You Should Attend

2021 is all about getting ahead of the effects of COVID-19, and for some individuals, the impact from 2021 evaluation and management office and outpatient services changes.

1. Our experts agree that effective payment and reimbursement improvement strategies for the current and future environment are increasingly necessary to maintain a resilient anesthesia practice. Here are some thought-provoking articles from Physicians Practice and Medical Economics to start fueling some pre-conference thinking.

Session Highlights:

    Friday, January 29 at 3:00 p.m. CST

2. Running a pain practice in a post-pandemic world will require a keen eye on pain and telemedicine policies, but we all know pain practitioners are no stranger to change. The ASA covers an array of topics from starting a practice to increasing profitability and thought leadership. Attendees also have at least two opportunities to brush up on coding and billing compliance.

3. Kellogg School of Management Professor, former CEO of Baxter, and best-selling author Harry Kraemer will deliver the keynote presentation on value-based leadership. abeo resonates with Professor Kraemer’s thoughts on doing the right thing to deliver outstanding and lasting results. Interestingly, on the surface, technology topics seem a little absent from this year’s schedule (full session descriptions not yet published at the time this article was written).  Health IT Answers gathered 2021 predictions from several industry experts, and there looks to be a continued demand for Health IT innovation and solutions. Our own Chief Strategy Officer, Erik Miller, predicts “healthcare technology “winners” in 2021 will focus on reducing operating cost and increasing scalability for providers looking to gain efficiency in a post-COVID environment.”

abeo is excited to support the ASA as an Innovator Sponsor and contribute to the subject matter expertise found at this conference. Be sure to look up the abeo team as you log in from your virtual office or living room to listen in on relevant topics in anesthesia practice management.
