Advanced Institute of Anesthesia Practice Management 2018 Conference

Anesthesiologists, CRNAs, Practice Administrators and other healthcare professionals involved in the business management of an anesthesiology practice should mark their calendars for April 28th through the 30th to attend the Advanced Institute of Anesthesia Practice Management (AIAPM) annual conference hosted at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.

This seminar brings together experts in the field of anesthesia billing and practice management to address bottom line issues anesthesia practices face. Among the anesthesia practice management consultants taking stage are Daniel Prevost and Jack Mayo with abeo.

Saturday, April 28th at 1:00 P.M. – “Getting Hired, Getting Fired, Selling Up, Selling Out”

The AIAPM kicks off their anesthesia practice management session with Daniel and Jack presenting, “Getting Hired, Getting Fired, Selling Up, Selling Out.” Daniel and Jack will set the stage for how the anesthesia marketplace has gotten to where it is today. Next, they will share three frame of minds commonly found among anesthesia practices. Followed by unique insights that will provide strategies for each frame of mind that individual anesthesia providers and small to mega-sized practices can take to better understand how to navigate the complex anesthesia marketplace.

“Maturing Market for Anesthesia M&A: Consolidation Enters the Next Phase” presented by Jeff Swearingen and “Exclusive Arrangements with Your Hospitals: The Negotiation Process and Strategy Considerations” presented by Vicki Myckowiak will complete the Saturday lineup for the anesthesia practice management session breakout. The Sunday breakout lineup continues with; “Why and How You Must Prepare Your Anesthesia Group for the Future” presented by Mark Weiss, “The Hospital and ASC Perspective: What Administrators Want from Their Anesthesia Groups” presented by Judy Semo and “Top Ten Anesthesia Malpractice Claims and How to Prevent Them” presented by Brian Thomas.

The AIAPM 2018 sessions in their entirety are designed to provide attendees with educational objectives in these seven areas:
