Our focus is on delivering unparalleled services to the unique needs of anesthesiologists and CRNAs in revenue cycle management, practice management and customizable software solutions through our proprietary software MedSuite.


Summary Description of Billing Specialist

The duties of the billing specialist include but are not limited to accounts receivable follow up, claims administration and response to patient inquiries.
The successful candidate must be an enthusiastic team player who demonstrates the ability to multi task in a fast paced environment with poised demeanor and positive attitude.
 
Qualifications include:

  • Experienced in medical billing and collections including claims status,A/R follow up, appeals, knowledge of insurancecarriers and medical terminology.
  • Ability to communicate in a clear, professional, and timely manner with all staff members
  • Applicant needs 1-2 years hands on experience in medical billing (anesthesia billing experience preferred)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft applications Word®, Excel®, and Outlook®
  • Typing: 40 wpm minimum
  • Excellent telephone etiquette, verbal and written communication, and spelling skills
  • Detail-oriented with good problem-solving skills
  • Ability to follow through to completion on all assignments
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently organize work andwork flow

 

Summary Description for Management

A Client Relations Manager is a strategic thinker, dynamic leader, and results-oriented professional, comfortable in a fast-paced, customer focused, rapidly growing environment. 

Strategic and Tactical responsibilities include

  • Polished professional who communicates effectively in external presentations with clients
  • Stays current on status of accounts
  • Ensures compliance with abeo standards
  • Serves as a primary contact with client on day-to-day billing issues and monthly reporting
  • Continually monitors level of client satisfaction by following up on issues raised by clients
  • Stay up-to-date and communicate changes in payer policies
  • Communicates client billing performance goals to team members
  • Effectively resolves client problems, involves Director of Operations if needed
  • Responsible for the review and analysis of month-end reports
  • Work with team to determine cause and resolve AR variances
  • Identify and report compliance issues as appropriate
  • Attend client meetings as requested
  • Oversight regarding collections

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare or related discipline preferred
  • 3-5 years in medical billing and collections required
  • Proven success in client and employee relations
  • Successful work experience in anesthesia billing preferred
  • Financial analysis experience preferred
  • Advanced insurance company knowledge
  • Working knowledge of CPT/ASA Procedure and ICD-9 diagnosis coding

Other:  up to 25% travel required
