Whether you do your own coding or not , abeoCoder is a great tool for referencing CPT, ASA and ICD codes. abeo has anesthesiologists use the App all the time when in discussions over coding or needing to verify a code on a case they have done.
Does abeoCoder have ICD 10 codes?
CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid) does not require ICD 10 codes to be used until October 1, 2013. abeo is preparing software updates for this upcoming change, but transition from ICD 9 to ICD 10 codes on abeoCoder will not take affect until we near closer to this date.
Why do I have to provide a user name and legal entity? What does that mean?
After downloading and installing abeoCoder, you must read and accept the end-user agreement. Secondly, AMA (American Medical Association) and ASA (American Society of Anesthesiologists) require a user name and legal entity be associated with each download and entered before you can use abeoCoder. This information will not be used to contact you and will not be provided to any outside parties.
